Tishin Igor

Igor Tishin was born in 1958 in Belarus. In 1978 he graduated from Minsk College of Arts and in 1983 he obtained a degree of the Belarusian Institute of Theatre and Arts in Minsk. In 1997 he won a scholarship Kanton Aargau ,Stiftung Kunstlerhaus Boswil in Switzerland. In 2005 the artist took part in the 51st Venise Biennale (pavilion of Belarus). Since 1999 Igor Tishin has been living and working in Brussels. Now the artist’s works are in the National Art Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art (Minsk), New Jersey Museum of Contemporary Art (the US), V. Meyerhold Museum in Penza.
