Elena Adamchyk

Elena Adamchik is a photographer, publisher and candidate of biological sciences.
She spent her childhood in Vilnius, but then moved to Minsk and still lives there. Elena's father taught her to take photographs.
 The first personal exhibition of Elena was held in 1990 in Warsaw and was named "Naked Truth".
Since then she has been exhibiting her photos in many different cities - Berlin, Paris, Monte Carlo, Moscow, Venice, Vilnius, Minsk, Barcelona, ​​Budapest, Modena... 
Her most famous project is a series of the books “Women of Europe”, which began with the book “Women of Belarus”. The first book was presented to the public in 2004 in Vilnius. The presentation of third book of the project took place in Monaco in July 2009. Also then Elena started her work on the new book “Women of Monaco”, which was finished the next year and presented at the Casino square of Monte Carlo.
After her trip to Lebanon in 2012 Elena completed work on her next book “Women of Beirut”.
At the same time, the author's photographs were exhibited in the “Metropol” gallery in Moscow and in the National Library in Minsk.
In 2013, Elena made a photo exhibition "To Stop Violence Against Women" at the UNO headquarters in Paris.
In 2015, she released her new book “Diamonds of Belarus” together with a famous jewelry brand “Smolenskie diamonds” and presented it in the National Library of Minsk, where she donated the entire collection of the books  “Women of Europe” to the department of rare books.
There are already seven books published in the series of the “Women of Europe” project. 
Now Elena dedicate her new works on the topic of ecology and the protection of the environment and already made an exhibition “She is nature” about Belarusian ecologists. In 2016, Elena participated in the “Inclusive Belarus” project of the UNO.
At the moment, Elena is actively working on her new projects and continue to exhibit her photos all around the world. 99999999999999999999999991
