Litvinova Z.V. was born in 1938 in the village “Staroe Selo”, Gomel region.
In 1961 she graduated from Minsk College of Arts. Her teaching staff there were S.P. Katkov and A.A. Malishevski. Then she entered Belarusian Institute of Theatre and Arts. In 1967 Litvinova Z.V. graduated from Institute of Theatre and Arts in Minsk (monumental faculty). The teaching staff: G. H. Vaschenko and A.M. Kischenko. In 1970 she became a member of USSR Union of Artists.

An honorary degree of USSR Academy of Arts and a degree of Mark Shagal First International Plein-air in Vitebsk was conferred on Litvinova Z.V. She was also awarded the first prize at All-Soviet Union Exhibition of Paintings in Moscow, a title “Merited Artist of the Republic of Belarus”, a knight of order  “Literature and Arts Merits”  in France and Francysk Skaryna order in Belarus.

Nowadays there are  Litvinova's picturesque paintings in the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian Museum of Modern Art, Polotsk National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg,  museums in Riga, Novosibirsk, Arkhangelsk, Bishkek, Ufa and other cities, as well as private  and  public collections in Austria, Germany, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, England, RSA, Israel,  the USA and Canada.
